Playful Transformation, LLC

Effective date: 01/03/2027 Last updated: 01/03/2027

These Website Terms of Use govern access to and use of the public Revisiting Journeys Studio website. Separate terms apply to paid participation in the Studio.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Website Terms of Use are entered into between you and Playful Transformation, LLC, doing business as Revisiting Journeys Studio (the “Company,” “Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using revisitingjourneysstudio.com and any publicly available content, functionality, downloads, or services offered through it (the “Website”), you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

2. Eligibility

The Website is intended for individuals who are at least eighteen years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Website, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Educational Purpose

The Website provides educational information for educators, families, professional-learning leaders, and others interested in children’s thinking, inquiry, creativity, environments, documentation, and reflective practice.

Website content is offered for general educational purposes. It is not legal, medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial, tax, employment, or other licensed professional advice. You remain responsible for your own professional judgment and decisions.

4. Ownership of Website Content

Unless otherwise identified, the Website and its original content are owned by Playful Transformation, LLC, Revisiting Journeys Studio, the identified author, or the applicable rights holder. Protected content may include text, photographs, graphics, illustrations, videos, audio, downloads, frameworks, models, diagrams, trademarks, logos, and the arrangement of the Website.

Access to the Website does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

5. Limited Permission to Use the Website

You may access the Website and use publicly available content for personal, noncommercial, educational, and informational purposes. You may print or save reasonable portions for your own use when copyright, authorship, and attribution notices remain intact.

6. Uses That Require Written Permission

Without prior written permission, you may not:

• republish, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit Website content;

• use Website content in a paid course, workshop, consulting service, publication, product, or resource library;

• modify Website materials and present them as your own;

• remove copyright, trademark, authorship, watermark, or attribution notices;

• use the Studio’s name, logo, marks, or visual identity in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation;

• use automated tools, bots, scraping technologies, or artificial-intelligence systems to systematically capture, reproduce, train on, summarize for redistribution, or build datasets from protected Website content.

7. Free Downloads and Resources

When the Website provides a resource in exchange for an email address or as a free download, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own professional learning. Free resources may not be resold, publicly posted, repackaged, or incorporated into another commercial offering unless the resource expressly permits that use.

8. User Communications and Submissions

You may be able to submit comments, questions, reviews, forms, or other communications. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, invasive of privacy, infringing, misleading, malicious, or designed to disrupt the Website.

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give the Company a limited permission to receive, store, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to respond to you, operate the Website, or provide the service you requested. We will not use an identifiable testimonial, photograph, or personal story in external marketing without additional permission.

9. Copyright Concerns

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on the Website infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing: identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the material at issue; your contact information; a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder; and your physical or electronic signature.

Copyright notices may be sent to: [email protected] and 4013 Redondo Drive, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.

10. Links and Third-Party Services

The Website may link to third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, social networks, or services. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement. We do not control third-party content, availability, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own policies.

11. Website Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Website content or features. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis for educational and informational purposes. We do not guarantee that all content will be complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every setting or purpose.

13. Limitation of Responsibility

You remain responsible for how you interpret and use Website content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playful Transformation, LLC, Revisiting Journeys Studio, and their owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, and representatives will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or waive rights or protections that cannot legally be limited or waived.

14. Security and Prohibited Conduct

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, harvest personal information, or use the Website for unlawful purposes.

15. International Use

The Website is operated from the United States. Visitors accessing it from another location are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to them. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive non-waivable consumer or privacy rights.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Website, our practices, or legal requirements change. The revised version will identify its effective date. Material changes will be communicated when reasonably appropriate.

17. Governing Law and Good-Faith Resolution

These Terms will be governed by the laws of California, without improperly limiting mandatory rights that apply to a Website user based on location. Before beginning formal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to attempt to resolve concerns through good-faith written communication.

18. Severability and No Waiver

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

19. Entire Agreement

These Website Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing use of the public Website. Paid Studio participation is governed by the separate Studio Participation Agreement.
